In 2004, I started a handbag and accessory business based in Sonoma County and had an exhilirating experience. Creating bags equals creating joy.
I was exposed to sewing early through my mother and grandmother. Though the DIY spirit runs generations deep, it wasn’t until high school that the sewing bug really bit. I had to peg my pants! And then after college, I started making skirts and simple totes.
My love for sewing grew into a passion that I share with my daughters. We now have a Summer Sewing Camp for ages 8-12.
In the past I have owned and operated a skin care clinic, helped launch a successful film festival, worked for Elizabeth Arden, run an office on the Pacific Stock Exchange, and travelled for a summer in Europe.
I love learning, sharing, making things, helping others, and seeing my family happy.
